1oz Taynton Bay Espresso Vodka
3oz Freshly brewed coffee
1oz Coffee liqueur
Optional *Splash of Cream or milk
Garnish: 3 coffee beans
how to make it
Brew Your Coffee:
Start by brewing your coffee. You can use your preferred method (drip, French press, espresso machine, etc.).
Allow the coffee to cool if you plan on making an iced version. If you want a hot cocktail, make sure the coffee is hot. If you want a cold cocktail, make sure to cool the coffee down.
Combine Ingredients:
In a cocktail shaker or a mixing glass, pour the espresso vodka, cooled coffee, and coffee liqueur.
If you are making a hot cocktail, it is best to combine the ingredients directly into a mug.
Shake or Stir (Depending on Temperature):
For a cold cocktail: If using a cocktail shaker, add ice. Close the shaker tightly and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds, until the shaker is well chilled.
For a hot cocktail: If making a hot cocktail, simply stir the ingredients together in your mug.
Strain or Pour:
For a cold cocktail: Strain the cocktail into a glass filled with ice.
For a hot cocktail: simply drink from the mug that you mixed the ingredients within.
Add Cream/Milk (Optional):
If you desire a creamier cocktail, add a splash of cream or milk (dairy or non-dairy) to your drink.
Garnish:
Garnish your cocktail with 3 coffee beans. Traditionally, three coffee beans represent health, wealth, and happiness.
